Tech giant Apple is expected to finally unveil the latest iPhone in the next few days. A new video spread online revealed the device's massive screen.
New leaks and information about the new iPhone
continues to surface online every day. Most of the rumors are about new
iPhone 5 details, including specs and features, design, and accessories
for the upcoming handset.
Surprisingly, it was claimed that a dummy iPhone 5 went unnoticed at IFA 2012 as all attention and focus was on the launching of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
GSMIsrael reported that they saw found the dummy iPhone 5 and it contains all of the major rumors floating around. The report said that iPhone 5 is taller and bigger than its predecessors and the headphone jack was moved at the bottom of the device.
A leaked video featured the casing of the allegedly iPhone 5. The footage from iLab Factory showed Apple's flagship phone with a massive screen. The video also showed the new dock connector of the device.
According to the latest rumors, iPhone 5 is speculated to have the final measurement specs will be 58.47mm x 123.83mm x 7.6mm. As with previous iterations, thickness is expected to be equal across the body.
With minimal changes made on the outside, we can only hope that the Apple packed more inside the new iPhone 5. Some of the rumored features of the upcoming iPhone 5 are 4G/LTE capability, A6 chip and equipped by the new iOS 6. iPhone 5 will have a 9-pin dock connector. The beta version of iOS 6 holds proof on this claim. Smaller dock connector will yield more space inside for greater features.
Apple is also expected to release an iPad Mini, which is rumored to have 7.3 mm thick, 134.73mm wide, 200.13mm long, and feature a mini dock connector, redesigned speakers, and add a microphone on the backside. Moreover, the iPad Mini will feature a rear camera and a front camera for FaceTime, although the pixels of shooters are not yet revealed.
iPhone 5 is expected to be launched on September 12 at a media event and will be available on September 21. However, iPad Mini is speculated to be launched at a later date. Watch the leaked video of the alleged iPhone 5 below.
