Nissan will unveil its new Terra fuel-cell electric SUV concept at the Paris motor show later this month.
The Japanese brand's latest concept appears to take inspiration from
the Juke compact crossover, although no information about the new
concept car has been revealed by the company aside from the large decals
on the doors of the car that confirm it is a fuel-cell powered car.
Standout design elements include bold, central lights in the front
bumper, squared-off wheel arches, a tiny glasshouse and "suicide”-style
rear doors.
Inside, the four-seat cabin has a stunning, brown-on-brown boat-like
wood-lined interior with a large dash-mounted screen that acts as the
car's instrument cluster and control panel.
The Terra could offer a glimpse into how the brand's SUVs will look
in the coming years. Blog site Carscoop reports the car may hint at a
replacement for the xTerra SUV which is sold in the US and is due to be
re-skinned in 2013, while other sites suggest a heavily revised Juke
will be launched late in 2013, and this concept could give some
indication of how that car may look.
